T.Y. Hilton is a former American football wide receiver who played in the National Football League (NFL) for nine seasons. He was born on November 14, 1989, in Miami, Florida, and attended Florida International University, where he played college football for the FIU Panthers.

Hilton was selected by the Indianapolis Colts in the third round of the 2012 NFL Draft. He quickly established himself as one of the most dynamic and explosive receivers in the league, earning four Pro Bowl selections and one Second-Team All-Pro nod during his career.

Throughout his time with the Colts, Hilton was known for his speed, agility, and ability to make big plays. He was a favorite target of quarterback Andrew Luck, and the two formed a formidable duo that helped lead the Colts to multiple playoff appearances.

Over the course of his career, Hilton amassed 608 receptions for 9,360 yards and 50 touchdowns. He also had a knack for coming up big in important games, including a memorable performance in the 2013 playoffs against the Kansas City Chiefs, where he caught 13 passes for 224 yards and two touchdowns.

Despite his success on the field, Hilton's career was not without its challenges. He battled injuries throughout his time in the league, including a nagging ankle issue that limited his effectiveness in his later years. Additionally, the Colts struggled to consistently make the playoffs during Hilton's tenure, with the team only making it past the Wild Card round once during his nine seasons.

In March 2021, Hilton signed a one-year contract with the Colts to return for his tenth season with the team. However, he was limited by injuries and saw a reduced role in the offense, finishing the season with just 33 receptions for 378 yards and one touchdown.

Following the 2021 season, Hilton announced his retirement from the NFL. He leaves behind a legacy as one of the most exciting and productive receivers of his era, and will be remembered for his speed, agility, and ability to make big plays when it mattered most.
