Wade LeBlanc is a left-handed pitcher who has played for several Major League Baseball (MLB) teams throughout his career. He was born on August 7, 1984, in Lake Charles, Louisiana, and attended Barbe High School in Lake Charles. After high school, he attended the University of Alabama, where he played college baseball for the Crimson Tide.

LeBlanc was drafted by the San Diego Padres in the second round of the 2006 MLB draft. He made his MLB debut with the Padres on September 3, 2008, and pitched in 10 games for the team that season. He spent the next few seasons bouncing between the Padres and their minor league affiliates.

In 2011, LeBlanc was traded to the Miami Marlins, where he spent the next two seasons. He then played for the Houston Astros and the Los Angeles Angels before signing with the Seattle Mariners in 2018. With the Mariners, LeBlanc had one of the best seasons of his career, posting a 9-5 record with a 3.72 ERA in 32 games (27 starts).

After the 2018 season, LeBlanc signed a one-year contract with the Mariners. He struggled in the 2019 season, posting a 6-7 record with a 5.71 ERA in 26 games (25 starts). He was then traded to the Pittsburgh Pirates in November 2019, but was released by the team in July 2020.

LeBlanc signed a minor league contract with the Baltimore Orioles in July 2020 and was called up to the MLB roster in August. He pitched in nine games for the Orioles in the 2020 season, posting a 1-0 record with a 4.50 ERA. He re-signed with the Orioles for the 2021 season, but was designated for assignment in May and released by the team in June.

Throughout his career, LeBlanc has been a reliable left-handed pitcher who can start or come out of the bullpen. He has a career record of 46-49 with a 4.59 ERA in 198 games (133 starts). He has also played for several teams in the minor leagues, including the Triple-A affiliates of the Padres, Marlins, Angels, and Mariners.
