Wayne Presley is a former professional ice hockey player who played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for over a decade. He was born on March 23, 1964, in Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada. Presley began his hockey career in the Western Hockey League (WHL) with the Victoria Cougars in the early 1980s.

Presley was drafted by the Chicago Blackhawks in the first round of the 1983 NHL Entry Draft. He made his NHL debut with the Blackhawks during the 1984-85 season and played with the team for six seasons. During his time with the Blackhawks, Presley was known for his speed and his ability to score goals. He scored a career-high 34 goals during the 1986-87 season and was named the team's most improved player.

In 1990, Presley was traded to the Buffalo Sabres, where he played for two seasons. He then played for the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim during their inaugural season in 1993-94. Presley finished his NHL career with the New York Islanders, where he played for two seasons before retiring in 1996.

Throughout his NHL career, Presley played in 579 games and scored 139 goals and 157 assists for a total of 296 points. He also played in 35 playoff games and scored 10 goals and 10 assists.
