Wilkin Castillo is a Dominican professional baseball player who has played in the Major League Baseball (MLB) and various minor leagues. He began his professional career in 2003 when he was signed by the Arizona Diamondbacks as an amateur free agent. He spent several years in the Diamondbacks' minor league system before making his MLB debut in 2008.

Castillo played for several MLB teams throughout his career, including the Cincinnati Reds, Philadelphia Phillies, and Miami Marlins. He primarily played as a catcher but also played as an outfielder and infielder. Despite his versatility, Castillo never established himself as a regular starter in the MLB and spent most of his career in the minor leagues.

In addition to his MLB career, Castillo played in various international leagues, including the Dominican Winter League and the Mexican Pacific League. He also played for the Dominican Republic national baseball team in the 2013 World Baseball Classic.

Throughout his career, Castillo was known for his defensive skills and ability to play multiple positions. He was also known for his strong arm and ability to throw out baserunners. However, he struggled with consistency at the plate and had a career batting average of .174 in the MLB.

Castillo's baseball career came to an end in 2019 when he was released by the Miami Marlins. He finished his MLB career with a total of 38 hits, 5 home runs, and 18 RBIs in 112 games played. Despite his limited success in the MLB, Castillo's versatility and defensive skills made him a valuable player in the minor leagues and international leagues.
