The Arizona Cardinals will begin their offseason workout program in April. The team announced the schedule for its voluntary workouts, voluntary organized team activities (OTAs) and the mandatory rookie minicamp and mandatory minicamp. - This will be the first regular offseason since 2019. The NFL and NFLPA suspended all previously agreed upon COVID-19 protocols. - The offseason program goes through different regulated phases. In Phase 1, players only work out with the strength and conditioning coach. There is no on-field football work. - In Phase 2, they can begin with individual on-field drills, but there are no one-on-one offense-on-defense work. - The final phase, Phase 3, begins with OTAs, when they can practice offense vs. defense but not in pads and not full contact. - The Cardinals will begin Phase 1 April 19 and wrap up spring work June 16.
