The Chicago Bears cleaned house in firing both head coach Matt Nagy and general manager Ryan Pace, which means there’s plenty of change coming to Halas Hall in 2022. Not only is Nagy gone, but it’s easy to assume that a lot of his coaching staff won’t be back. And it sounds like that includes special teams coordinator Chris Tabor. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Tabor is interviewing for the special teams coordinator job with the Carolina Panthers. Tabor joined Nagy’s coaching staff back in 2018, where he’s served as the special teams coordinator through 2021. Before that, he was a special teams coordinator with the Cleveland Browns from 2011-17. Tabor got his start in the NFL with the Bears as an assistant special teams coordinator from 2008-10.
