While Baker Mayfield is still on the roster, and the musical chairs don’t seem to be lining up for he or the Browns, the team has also added Jacoby Brissett to the roster. - Case Keenum was traded away to the Buffalo Bills after collecting a $1 million roster bonus in Cleveland. - While there are far more important issues with the Watson addition, one question was related to what number he would wear with the Browns. Watson wore the #4 at Clemson and then again with the Houston Texans. - Last year, Anthony Walker took the #4 shortly after the NFL allowed linebackers to wear single-digit numbers. A press conference is expected but not yet scheduled for later this week as the next step. After that, a looming suspension along with his civil cases being resolved may take some time to play out. - - - - - - - - - - - - Email - - - - - Sign up - - - - - - - - Like this article? - Sign up for the Browns Wire email newsletter to get our top stories in your inbox every morning - - - - An error has occured - - - Please re-enter your email address. - - - - - - Thanks for signing up! - - - You'll now receive the top Browns Wire stories each day directly in your inbox.
