Green Bay Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst was one of many prominent NFL decision-makers in Columbus for Ohio State’s official pro day on Wednesday, according to Stacey Dales of NFL Network. - Eleven different Buckeyes worked out in front of NFL teams: wide receivers Chris Olave, Garrett Wilson and Chris Booker, tight end Jeremy Ruckert, running back Master Teague, defensive linemen Tyreke Smith, Haskell Garrett and Antwuan Jackson, cornerback Demario McCall and offensive linemen Thayer Munford and Nicholas Petit-Frere. - The Packers could be interested in all 11 players, but Olave, Wilson and Ruckert are the obvious attractions for Gutekunst given Green Bay’s positional needs at receiver and tight end. - Showing up at a pro day doesn’t guarantee Gutekunst and the Packers are going to target one of the Ohio State players in the 2022 draft, but it does suggest a desire to see the players work out live and interact in person. Pro days are just one piece of the evaluation puzzle. - Olave has become a popular pick for the Packers in mock drafts since the Davante Adams trade. Wilson is another potential first-round receiver option, and Ruckert is one of the top tight ends in the draft class. - Last year, the Packers used a second-round pick on center Josh Myers, who was back in Columbus for the pro day on Wednesday. - - List - - 10 prospects the Packers could now target with 22nd overall pick - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Email - - - - - Sign up - - - - - - - - Like this article? - Sign up for the Packers Wire email newsletter to get our top stories in your inbox every morning - - - - An error has occured - - - Please re-enter your email address. - - - - - - Thanks for signing up! - - - You'll now receive the top Packers Wire stories each day directly in your inbox.
