Indianapolis Colts left guard Quenton Nelson was named to his fourth consecutive Pro Bowl for the 2021 season but won’t participate due to an injury. - It isn’t clear what injury that is, but he will be replaced by Tennessee Titans guard Roger Saffold. The announcement from the Titans official website was the first to claim that Nelson wouldn’t be participating due to injury. - Nelson still gets credit for the Pro Bowl nod on his record but won’t be playing in the NFL’s All-Star game on Feb. 6 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. - Hopefully, we will get some kind of update on the extent of Nelson’s injury. It could simply be a precaution but it’s always wise to wait until it’s official when it comes to injury news. - Like Colts Wire on Facebook - Follow Colts Wire on Twitter - Follow Kevin on Twitter (@KevinHickey11) - - RelatedMatt Eberflus expected to bring several Colts' assistants to BearsColts to interview Kris Richard, two others for DC vacancyColts' Ed Dodds is not expected to be new Raiders GM - - List - - Colts' defensive coordinator tracker: Who has interviewed for vacancy - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Email - - - - - Sign up - - - - - - - - Like this article? - Sign up for the Colts Wire email newsletter to get our top stories in your inbox every morning - - - - An error has occured - - - Please re-enter your email address. - - - - - - Thanks for signing up! - - - You'll now receive the top Colts Wire stories each day directly in your inbox.
