The New York Giants continue to plug away at compiling their coaching staff, and that includes a look at a familiar name: Adam Henry. - NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo reports that the Giants met with Henry on Tuesday for their vacant wide receivers coach position. - - The #Giants are interviewing Adam Henry for their WRs coach position today, sources say. Henry was with the #Giants in 2016-17 then spent two seasons each with the #Browns and #Cowboys. Sounds likely to return to East Rutherford on Brian Daboll’s coaching staff. - — Mike Garafolo (@MikeGarafolo) February 8, 2022 - - - As Garafolo notes, Henry spent two seasons with the Giants from 2016 through 2017, coaching the likes of Odell Beckham Jr., Victor Cruz and Sterling Shepard. - In addition to his time with the Giants, Henry has also had stints with the Oakland Raiders (2007-2011), San Francisco 49ers (2015), Cleveland Browns (2018-2019) and Dallas Cowboys (2020-2021). He also made a stop with LSU from 2012 through 2014. - Henry broke into the NFL as an undrafted free agent out of McNeese State, where he also spent 10 years as a coach and coordinator. He signed with the New Orleans Saints following the 1994 NFL draft and spent three seasons with the team. - Given Henry’s familiarity with the Giants organization and some of the remaining players, he’d make for a nice fit. - Follow the Giants Wire Podcast: - Apple Podcasts | Spotify | Google Podcasts - - - - - - - - - - - - - Email - - - - - Sign up - - - - - - - - Like this article? - Sign up for the Giants Wire email newsletter to get our top stories in your inbox every morning - - - - An error has occured - - - Please re-enter your email address. - - - - - - Thanks for signing up! - - - You'll now receive the top Giants Wire stories each day directly in your inbox.
