When the name Odell Beckham Jr. is mentioned, it is met with mixed reactions. - Some harken back to his days as a New York Giants star wide receiver who made jaw-dropping plays and performed record-shattering feats. Others are quickly reminded how Beckham played his way out of two cities and was without a job as early as this past November. - All of that has been swept under the rug the past three months as OBJ is experiencing his third act, this time with the Los Angeles Rams, where he’s been hiding in plain sight among America’s movie and television elite. - Beckham is doing what he does best again — play football — and that has kept the media snipers at bay. It’s also helpful that he’s matured to the point where gives them little to no negative fodder to use against him. - “The people who are close to me are like, ‘Bro, it’s just crazy to see how the narrative has changed,'” Beckham said earlier this week. “When I was younger, I definitely did things that could’ve helped me not be able seen for who I truly am. But I also feel like there was a lot more of just trying to create a story because it’s easier to sell drama than it is to write up good things about somebody.” - Many of Beckham’s former teammates during his time with the Giants and Cleveland Browns are wishing him well in the upcoming Super Bowl this Sunday. - One of those players is former Giants linebacker/special teams ace Mark Herzlich, who not only wishes his old teammate well, but is predicting a big game from No. 3 on Sunday. - - Former Giant @MarkHerzlich sees a big Super Bowl performance for Odell Beckham: - "I wouldn't be surprised to see him throw a pass or have one of his moments, because he shines the brightest on the biggest stage.” - On THE TAILGATE:
