He then continued his stellar running back play into college where he totaled 2,049 scrimmage yards and 25 scrimmage touchdowns in two seasons at the University of Idaho. - This breakout play in his final two collegiate seasons earned Penny a chance at an NFL roster as an undrafted free agent for the Arizona Cardinals. In 2017, as a Cardinal, Penny rushed for 124 yards and two touchdowns. - The Idaho alumni was then picked up off the Cardinals’ practice squad and joined the Giants in 2018.
