Like the rest of us, retired New York Giants legend Eli Manning has been tuned into the 2022 NFL Combine in Indianapolis this week. - Unlike many of the rest of us however, Manning has gone through those drills himself. And on Friday, he felt inspired to see if he still had it. That led to him testing his vertical jump, which ended with some mixed reviews. - - With the NFL Combine going on, I felt inspired to test my vertical jump. I really felt like I was jumping so high! pic.twitter.com/bHwXX89exD - — Eli Manning (@EliManning) March 4, 2022 - - - “I’ve gotta hit this red one for a 24-inch vertical, baby,” Manning said before barely reaching his goal. - Manning’s sense of humor is a blessing and something so many missed out on during his playing days. And although he’s ultra competitive, he’s also able to laugh at himself. - As far as Eli’s vertical jump, there are no records that show he made an attempt during the 2004 NFL Combine. Accordingly, this 24-inch leap may be his personal best. - - Gallery - Photos: Eli Manning through the years - - - - - - view 367 images - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Email - - - - - Sign up - - - - - - - - Like this article? - Sign up for the Giants Wire email newsletter to get our top stories in your inbox every morning - - - - An error has occured - - - Please re-enter your email address. - - - - - - Thanks for signing up! - - - You'll now receive the top Giants Wire stories each day directly in your inbox.
