It’s no secret the New York Giants want to address their lacking offensive line this offseason, but when and how they do that is up in the air. - Incoming general manager Joe Schoen inherited a salary cap disaster and his top priority will be fixing that. Accordingly, the Giants will likely be handcuffed in free agency, leaving them to pick through the scraps of available players. - One potential diamond in the rough is Baltimore Ravens center Bradley Bozeman. He was recently named a cost-effective free agent fit for the Giants by Nick Shook of NFL.com. - The Giants will likely be forced to part ways with one or more players to get under the cap, so we’re looking toward some lesser-known names to provide help. Much of New York’s offensive line is unsettled, but adding Bozeman at center would at least fill one need at an important spot responsible for directing protection of Daniel Jones. - The 27-year-old Bozeman was a sixth-round pick of the Ravens in 2018 and has spent his entire career in Baltimore. He’s appeared in 62 career games with 49 starts, and earned a career-high Pro Football Focus grade of 77.3 in 2021. - Bozeman is not expected to re-sign with the Ravens prior to the start of free agent on March 16, so if the Giants decide they want to take a swing, they will likely get their shot at the plate. - - List - - Making the case for and against the Giants trading Saquon Barkley - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Email - - - - - Sign up - - - - - - - - Like this article? - Sign up for the Giants Wire email newsletter to get our top stories in your inbox every morning - - - - An error has occured - - - Please re-enter your email address. - - - - - - Thanks for signing up! - - - You'll now receive the top Giants Wire stories each day directly in your inbox.
