Lost in Thursday’s shuffle, which saw the New York Giants release safety Logan Ryan and several major moves around the NFL, was the team’s decision to re-sign offensive lineman Korey Cunningham. - The 26-year-old Cunningham was a seventh-round pick of the Cardinals in 2018. After spending his rookie season in Arizona, he spent two years with the New England Patriots, including one year alongside ex-Giants Joe Judge in 2019. - Cunningham and Judge reunited in East Rutherford last season when the veteran lineman was initially signed to the Giants’ practice squad. He was later promoted to the active roster. - In four professional seasons, Cunningham has appeared in 30 games with six starts. He appeared in 12 games (no starts) for the Giants in 2021, earning a Pro Football Focus grade of 51.7. - Cunningham will rejoin the Giants in 2022 and compete for a spot as a reserve. - - List - - New York Giants' 2022 free agency scorecard - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Email - - - - - Sign up - - - - - - - - Like this article? - Sign up for the Giants Wire email newsletter to get our top stories in your inbox every morning - - - - An error has occured - - - Please re-enter your email address. - - - - - - Thanks for signing up! - - - You'll now receive the top Giants Wire stories each day directly in your inbox.
