The New York Giants are one of the teams who hold a pre-draft visit with LSU cornerback Cordale Flott, reports Mike Kaye of Pro Football Network. - While Flott mostly played the nickel role at LSU, his size gives him the ability to play outside at cornerback. During his three seasons at LSU, Flott produced 98 tackles (5.5 for loss), 10 pass breakups, an interception, and 2 forced fumbles. - Flott hasn’t tested his speed or agility this offseason, but he has proven his toughness as a sound tackler at LSU. - While teams have been buzzing around another LSU corner — Derek Stingley Jr. — they’ve stumbled upon Flott and his tenacious play. At 6-feet and under 180 pounds, Flott might be a bit light to handle the bigger receivers in the league. - Teams will be eyeing Flott’s pro day, which will take place on April 6. If he shows significant speed and agility, the Giants and other teams in the market for secondary help will take notice. - Currently, Flott is ranked 415th on PFNs draft board. That equates to being undrafted. It’s unusual that the Giants — or any team — would use a pre-draft visit on a player who could go undrafted, so there’s something possibly brewing here. - Follow the Giants Wire Podcast: - Apple Podcasts | Spotify | Google Podcasts - - - - - - - - - - - - - Email - - - - - Sign up - - - - - - - - Like this article? - Sign up for the Giants Wire email newsletter to get our top stories in your inbox every morning - - - - An error has occured - - - Please re-enter your email address. - - - - - - Thanks for signing up! - - - You'll now receive the top Giants Wire stories each day directly in your inbox.
