The New York Giants had a dismal season in 2021, finishing with just four wins. Their offense was the second worst in the league, averaging 15.2 points and 287 yards per game. - The defense fell off also. The were 12th overall in 2021 and dropped to 21st this past season. They played well at times and it actually kept them in many games. - Cornerback James Bradberry was named to the Pro Bowl in 2020 and his 18 passes defensed ranked third in the NFL. In 2021, Bradberry did not get recognized for his play but he still was in the top 5 with 17 passes defensed. - One thing Bradberry is proud of is that the team never quit, even though all the frustration, injuries, illnesses and losing. - “We kept our attitude positive the whole time,” Bradberry said in an interview on the team’s website. “We had a rough season. Usually the guys start to post fingers and have a bad attitude but we kept our attitudes positive.” - Bradberry said he and his teammates have too much respect for the game to give less than 100 percent effort. He and his teammates pride themselves in not quitting. - Bradberry will have a new head coach next season with the Giants, and maybe even a whole new staff. That won’t stop Bradberry from being a top cover corner. He is too dedicated to his craft and his team. All he needs to do now is help turn the Giants back into winners. - - List - - 2022 NFL draft: Giants select a new QB in full 7-round mock - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Email - - - - - Sign up - - - - - - - - Like this article? - Sign up for the Giants Wire email newsletter to get our top stories in your inbox every morning - - - - An error has occured - - - Please re-enter your email address. - - - - - - Thanks for signing up! - - - You'll now receive the top Giants Wire stories each day directly in your inbox.
