The Seahawks still have a top-10 quarterback in Russell Wilson from where we’re sitting. However, his performance has taken a turn towards inconsistent over the last couple of years, giving ammunition to folks who want to see Seattle trade him. After playing like an MVP candidate the first half of the 2020 season, Wilson’s game dropped off dramatically in the second half. He had a similar strong start this past year, but a finger injury in Week 5 put him on the shelf for a month and when he returned it took him several more weeks to get back into shape. In the end, he wound up in the middle of the pack in PFF’s QB rankings for the year. - Pro Football Focus’ grading system tends to favor traditional pocket passers over dual-threat quarterbacks, but it’s still interesting to see where they fall. Here’s where Wilson ranked among the 37 QBs who saw significant playing time last season.
