Patriots’ free-agent OT Trent Brown agreed this morning to a two-year deal to return to New England per his agents, @DrewJRosenhaus and @JasonRosenhaus. - — Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) March 21, 2022 - - - According to a report by Adam Schefter at ESPN, free agent offensive tackle Trent Brown is re-signing with the Patriots on a two-year deal. - The Seahawks spent the weekend wooing Brown in Seattle, trying to sign him. It seems New England was able to match whatever was offered or at least convinced him to stay for other reasons. Either way, he’s gone. Brown could have filled either of Seattle’s two biggest holes along their offensive line now that both LT Duane Brown and RT Brandon Shell are free agents. On that front, the Panthers are reportedly pursuing Brown, while Shell has been reported to be getting interest from multiple teams, including the Broncos. - Another top free agent name at this position is also off the board. Yesterday, former Cowboys OT La’el Collins agreed to a deal with the Bengals. That doesn’t leave many options. - The best remaining one left on the market is former Saints left tackle Terron Armstead, who’s visiting with the Dolphins. - - RelatedNFL free agency: Panthers pursuing former Seahawks LT Duane Brown - - List - - Seahawks: Breaking down their remaining outside options at QB in 2022 - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Email - - - - - Sign up - - - - - - - - Like this article? - Sign up for the Seahawks Wire email newsletter to get our top stories in your inbox every morning - - - - An error has occured - - - Please re-enter your email address. - - - - - - Thanks for signing up! - - - You'll now receive the top Seahawks Wire stories each day directly in your inbox.
