Anthony Fasano is a former American football tight end who played in the National Football League (NFL) for over a decade. He began his football career at Verona High School in New Jersey, where he was a standout player and earned All-State honors.

Fasano went on to play college football at the University of Notre Dame, where he was a four-year starter and a team captain in his senior year. He finished his college career with 92 receptions for 1,112 yards and eight touchdowns.

In the 2006 NFL Draft, Fasano was selected in the second round by the Dallas Cowboys. He played for the Cowboys for two seasons, primarily as a backup tight end and special teams player.

In 2008, Fasano was traded to the Miami Dolphins, where he became a starting tight end. He had a breakout season in 2008, catching 34 passes for 454 yards and seven touchdowns. He continued to be a reliable target for the Dolphins over the next few seasons, and was known for his blocking ability as well as his receiving skills.

After four seasons with the Dolphins, Fasano signed with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2013. He played two seasons with the Chiefs, primarily as a blocking tight end.

In 2015, Fasano returned to the Dolphins for a second stint with the team. He played two more seasons with the Dolphins, primarily as a backup tight end and special teams player.

Fasano finished his NFL career with the Tennessee Titans, where he played in 2017. He announced his retirement from football in April 2018.

Throughout his career, Fasano was known for his toughness, work ethic, and versatility. He was a reliable receiver and a strong blocker, and was respected by his teammates and coaches for his leadership and professionalism.
