It seems like the quarterback position is the only thing Tennessee Titans fans are talking about these days. - Some are blindly defending Ryan Tannehill to the point that they’re insisting that he never does anything wrong in the playoffs and are quick to point the finger elsewhere rather than holding the nine-figure quarterback even semi-accountable. - Others are more neutral and aren’t expecting some dramatic trade for another quarterback, but after two straight playoff flops, those fans are realizing that the problem come playoff time is much more real than they wanted to believe. - And then you have the fans who are just completely over the current Titans quarterback and are throwing out trade scenarios for Aaron Rodgers, Russell Wilson, and Jimmy Garoppolo, which is the definition of a “lateral” move. - Even if the Titans could pull off a trade for Rodgers or Wilson, they would still have to move Tannehill, which could prove impossible to do thanks to his enormous contract that carries a big salary and even heftier dead cap hit. - If the Titans can’t pull off the aforementioned scenarios, they might look to the 2022 NFL draft to find a quarterback for the future. - Let’s take a deeper dive on the matter, shall we?
