Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Vrabel has done a phenomenal job since taking the reins of the team in 2018, which has put him in the discussion as one of the better head coaches in the NFL. - Vrabel has put together an impressive 41-24 record over four seasons and has led the team to a pair of division titles and three playoff appearances, one of which ended with a trip to the AFC Championship Game in 2019. - This past season might have been Vrabel’s best, at least in terms of regular season performance. - Of course, the Titans fell short in the playoffs, but the journey there saw Tennessee overcome a ton of injuries and the fielding of an NFL record 91 players en route to the No. 1 seed in the AFC. - Not only was Vrabel rewarded with AP NFL Coach of the Year, he was also given a well-deserved extension, as was general manager Jon Robinson. - In their annual head coach rankings, EdjSports’ Ian O’Connor ranked Vrabel as the No. 7 head coach in the NFL. - While a solid ranking, we tend to believe Vrabel should be higher, especially when you consider some of the coaches ahead of him, like the Indianapolis Colts’ Frank Reich, the Philadelphia Eagles’ Nick Sirianni, and the Los Angeles Chargers’ Brandon Staley, all of whom have less impressive resumes. - - RelatedMaurice Jones-Drew talks what's next for Titans RB Derrick HenryWarren Moon: Titans can win a Super Bowl with Ryan TannehillTitans' A.J.
