After abruptly retiring before the 2021 season, former Tennessee Titans cornerback Malcolm Butler is contemplating a comeback. - Butler, who signed a one-year, $3.25 million contract with the Arizona Cardinals last offseason, has been released from the reserve/retired list, where he was placed after calling it quits in 2021. - He is now a free agent and able to sign with any team. - According to NFL Network’s Mike Giardi, Butler has been “working out diligently” and the expectation is that he’ll return to the NFL in 2022. - Prior to signing on with the Cardinals last year, Butler spent the previous three seasons with the Titans, where he became a key member of the team’s secondary.
