- - - The Tennessee Titans have been known to take chances on players in the NFL draft who are coming off injury, and the same approach can’t be ruled out in this year’s draft. - In 2019, Robinson took a swing at defensive lineman Jeffery Simmons, who has proven to be a great pick. In 2021, Robinson drafted cornerback Caleb Farley, but the jury is still very much out on him. - When asked about a pair of Alabama receivers who are coming off injury, John Metchie and Jameson Williams, Robinson went into detail about the process of making such a decision, per Jim Wyatt of Titans Online. - “But those are some of the harder discussions we have, is the risk-reward of the player,” Robinson said. “Knowing that, and with those two players (Williams and Metchie) specifically, the timing of that injury and how much of the season they are going to miss and not have those guys, relatives to the dividends that they might bring to your football team.” - Wide receiver A.J. Brown got a hold of Robinson’s comments pertaining to injured players and voiced his support for the Titans drafting Williams or Metchie. - - Either one. Both are legit!
