The Tennessee Titans have locked up arguably their most important pending free agent of this offseason, outside linebacker Harold Landry. - Per multiple reports, the Titans and Landry have agreed on a five-year deal worth $87.5 million, with $52.5 million guaranteed. Landry is now the highest-paid outside linebacker on the team, surpassing Bud Dupree. - Landry’s deal also ranks him in the top 10 of the highest-paid edge rushers in the NFL, per Over the Cap. He lands in ninth and tied for ninth in total value and annual average, respectively. - According to Paul Kuharsky, Landry’s 2022 cap hit will be around $5 million or so, which is great news for a cap-strapped team like Tennessee that goes into the offseason about $7.8 million over the cap. - Titans fans had a long day waiting for something to happen, and while there was a bit of concern after the franchise tag deadline came and went with no action, ultimately it all worked out for those who wanted to keep Landry. - Now, a look at how Landry’s Titans teammates and the rest of Twitter reacted.
