After the Tennessee Titans wrapped up their last practice of the week on Thursday, head coach Mike Vrabel said the decision on whether or not the team will activate running back Derrick Henry from Injured Reserve for the divisional-round game against the Cincinnati Bengals will come on Friday. - On Wednesday, Henry addressed the media for the first time since suffering a foot injury in Week 8, and while he said he felt good, he wouldn’t commit to playing versus Cincinnati. - However, the expectation has been that the Titans will indeed activate him. After all, he has been practicing the past two weeks, and his being made available to the media was another good sign that he’ll play. - On Thursday, Vrabel said Henry is “progressing well” and the Titans will make a decision on him on Friday. - “Derrick’s progressing well,” Vrabel said. “We’ll see, make a determination on him tomorrow (Friday). Obviously I think his workload probably increased throughout the week.” - In other injury news, Vrabel also revealed that nobody has been ruled out for the Titans. Tennessee had three players on the injury report to start the week, added two more on Wednesday, but all five players practiced on Thursday. - Tennessee and Cincinnati will meet at Nissan Stadium on Saturday, with the kickoff set for 3:30 p.m. CST. The winner will go to the AFC Championship Game. - - RelatedBud Dupree reflects on career of former Steelers teammate Ben RoethlisbergerTitans hoping to limit Bengals fans by changing ticket transfer rulesJurrell Casey reacts to being named Honorary 12th Titan for divisional round - - List - - Titans' reasons for optimism and concern vs. Bengals - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Email - - - - - Sign up - - - - - - - - Like this article? - Sign up for the Titans Wire email newsletter to get our top stories in your inbox every morning - - - - An error has occured - - - Please re-enter your email address. - - - - - - Thanks for signing up! - - - You'll now receive the top Titans Wire stories each day directly in your inbox.
