After a sensational 2021 season, the honors just keep rolling in for Tennessee Titans safety Kevin Byard. - On Monday, the Pro Football Writers of America released its annual All-NFL, All-AFC and All-NFC teams, and Byard made the cut on both the All-NFL and All-AFC squads. No other Titans were selected. - This is the second time Byard has made both PFWA teams, as he also got the nod in 2017. - Prior to being named to the PFWA teams, Byard was selected as a First-Team All-Pro by the Associated Press, and was voted to the 2022 Pro Bowl. It is the second time in his career he received both honors. - In a season in which the Titans’ defense did a major turnaround, Byard was one of the key players. - He led the team with 88 total tackles, while also adding five picks, 13 passes defended, one sack, and a pair of defensive touchdowns.
