The Tennessee Titans are reportedly making some changes to their coaching staff, but those changes do not include current public enemy No. 1, offensive coordinator Todd Downing. - According to multiple reports, the Titans are letting go inside linebackers coach Jim Haslett, assistant defensive line coach Kenechi Udeze, assistant special teams coach Matt Edwards, and assistant strength and conditioning coach, Mondray Gee. - The most notable name of that group is Haslett, who was a former defensive coordinator and head coach elsewhere. His stint in Nashville lasted just two seasons. - Of that group, Edwards was the longest-tenured after spending four seasons with the Titans. Gee was in Nashville for three years, and Udeze is out after just one season. - The big change many Titans fans want to see is at offensive coordinator, after Downing did a poor job in his first season taking over for Arthur Smith. - While it’s certainly still possible for that to happen, we tend to believe he will get another season, especially after head coach Mike Vrabel praised Downing on Monday. - - RelatedKeith Bulluck: Titans should trade for Russell Wilson, draft QBTitans' Kevin Byard selected to PFWA All-NFL TeamTitans sign 11 players to futures contracts - - - - - - - - - - - - Email - - - - - Sign up - - - - - - - - Like this article? - Sign up for the Titans Wire email newsletter to get our top stories in your inbox every morning - - - - An error has occured - - - Please re-enter your email address. - - - - - - Thanks for signing up! - - - You'll now receive the top Titans Wire stories each day directly in your inbox.
